What a Ricoh model number tells you
Colour or mono first: IM C is colour, plain IM is mono. Then the first two digits give the speed, so an IM C3500 does 35 pages a minute and an IM C4500 does 45. The generation before was MP C, which makes the MP C3504 the earlier 35 page colour model. Both turn up secondhand. On the IM C machines the Smart Operation Panel comes standard.
Who should go for a Ricoh?
For a busy office, a refurbished IM C3500 or IM C4500 is the straight answer. You get 35 or 45 pages a minute in A3 colour, for well under the price of new.
A Ricoh from Sydney Copiers: what happens
Is a Ricoh available new from us? No. Ricoh machines come secondhand only: renewed, refurbished and used. For a new machine the choice is HP, Kyocera, Lexmark, OKI or Toshiba, and we will lay them side by side for you. Either way, the same team delivers it, installs it and services it, because we do not sell a machine we cannot service. Would rather not pay up front? Copier rental runs from $15 a week plus GST. Finance subject to approval. The lowest weekly figure applies to selected machines.

Is a Lanier copier a Ricoh?
Yes. Ricoh builds Lanier copiers, and the badge is the main difference. On current models the numbers line up: a Lanier IM C3000 is a Ricoh IM C3000. Older Lanier LD models were numbered their own way (an LD320 is really an Aficio MP 2000), and we look the match up for you. A Lanier is serviced as the Ricoh it is, and we will check parts and toner against its model number.

Replacement warranty
What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.
If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.
A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Buying Ricoh: what people ask
Do you sell Ricoh copiers new?
No. Ricoh is a secondhand brand for us, used or refurbished. New, the choice is Kyocera, Lexmark, Toshiba, OKI or HP.
Is an older Ricoh MP C still worth it?
If your printing is light, usually yes, once it has been checked and serviced. What you give up is the later Smart Operation Panel fitted to the IM C range.
Can a refurbished Ricoh be rented?
Yes, from $15 a week plus GST on selected machines, subject to approval. The model and its page count set the exact figure.
Where does the IM C2000 sit in Ricoh's range?
At the bottom. It is the entry IM C model, A3 colour at 20 pages a minute, one step under the IM C2500. Ask whether there is one in now.
What if my copier says Lanier?
Then it is a Ricoh. Newer Lanier machines carry Ricoh's model numbers, so a Lanier IM C3000 is a Ricoh IM C3000; older LD models do not, and we look those up. Give us your Lanier's model and we name the Ricoh that matches.
