Will it keep up with your office?

Our rule of thumb: it suits thirty or more people, or a dedicated print room. Busier than that, step up to the IM 6000, 60 pages per minute. Fewer pages to print? The IM 4000 runs at 40 pages per minute.

Which grade, and how do you pay?

Every secondhand IM 5000 is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Whatever we sell, we service, and this IM 5000 is no exception. On a service agreement, one that fails is swapped for a working machine during the term. Rental on selected machines is priced from $15 a week plus GST, once finance is approved.

What to ask about a secondhand one

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Ricoh IM 5000 questions, answered

What is the page count on a used IM 5000?

No two are the same. The count for the unit you are offered comes in writing, and it is the best single guide to wear.

Which should I get, the IM 5000 or the IM 6000?

Same series, so the choice is speed: 50 pages per minute against 60. Tell us your headcount and monthly pages and we give you a straight answer.

Is there a rental option for the IM 5000?

Yes, with finance approval. For this exact model we put the rental figure in writing, next to the outright price; on selected machines it starts from $15 a week plus GST.
