CBD and North Sydney

Copiers for the Sydney CBD, inner city and North Sydney

A copier for a tower floor, a terrace in Surry Hills or a warehouse office in Pyrmont? Each goes in a different way. We book the dock, the lift or the extra hands, then install and service it, from Redfern up to Chatswood.

What do city and North Sydney offices need from a copier?

Mostly speed and privacy. The towers of the CBD, Barangaroo and North Sydney hold banks, insurers, law firms, accountants and head offices, and their floors want a quick A3 colour machine with card release, so a contract never waits in the output tray. Pyrmont and Ultimo mix media, tech and education in converted warehouses. Surry Hills, Redfern and Darlinghurst are full of agencies, studios and small practices. Over the bridge, St Leonards, Crows Nest, Artarmon and Chatswood add medical suites, engineers and IT firms.

A twelve person agency in Surry Hills is often better off with a compact A3 colour copier, or an A4 office printer if nobody prints A3. Machines on several floors? Managed print brings all of them onto one bill, charged by the page.

Tower lifts, loading docks and building rules, all booked before the truck leaves.

How do you get a copier into a Sydney tower?

Through the loading dock, booked ahead. Most CBD and North Sydney buildings want the dock and the goods lift reserved through building management, some ask for proof of insurance first, and a few take deliveries only in set windows. Clearways, bus lanes and the light rail on George Street leave nowhere sensible to stop at the kerb, so the dock it is. Give us the building name and we book to its rules.

Away from the towers it changes. A Surry Hills terrace can mean a steep, narrow staircase; a converted Pyrmont warehouse can have a lift smaller than it looks. Tell us what is there and the right crew turns up.

Questions

City and North Sydney copiers: your questions

Our building only takes deliveries in set windows. Is that a problem?

No. We book the dock and goods lift with building management and deliver inside the window it gives us.

We work from a Surry Hills terrace up a narrow staircase. Will a copier fit?

Often, yes. Send the stair width and any tight turns. If a full size machine will not make it, a compact A3 copier or an A4 multifunction printer usually will.

Is there a copier that keeps client documents private?

Yes, any machine with secure release. Pages are held until the person who sent them taps a card or keys in a PIN at the copier, so nothing waits in the tray for the next person to pick up.

A straight answer takes one call.

Which machine, which grade, what it costs to run, what to watch for in the agreement: ask. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Send an enquiry on a business day and you hear back that same day.
