Who should rent a printer instead of a copier?
Offices that never print A3 and get through anywhere between several hundred and a few thousand pages a month. Think of a physio practice in Chatswood, a real estate office in Parramatta, or a trade business running its paperwork from a unit in Smithfield.
Once someone needs A3, or the team grows past about ten people, it is time for copier rental.
A4 printer rental: installed, looked after all term, then upgrade or hand it back.
What comes with a rented printer?
- Delivered and set up on your network.
- Scanning to email and to a shared folder, set up and tested.
- A service agreement for the toner, the parts and any repairs, at a fixed rate per page.
- The replacement warranty, for as long as the agreement runs.
Toner is included in the page rate. Each toner order has a delivery charge. When the printer tells you it is running low, order the next cartridge through us.
Should you rent, lease or buy the printer?
Renting keeps the payment level and makes the next upgrade easy. Prefer a lease? A printer lease can be arranged if your accountant would rather see one. Buying it outright costs least in total if you plan to keep it a long time. The five ways to pay, side by side.
Rental, not hire
Need a printer for an expo or a fortnight's project? That is hire, and rental is not hire. Ours run for three to five years on a business agreement, and we do not offer short term hire.

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.
If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.
A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

How much is printer rental in Sydney?
Printers rent from $10 a week plus GST on selected models. The model, mono or colour, the length of the term and your monthly pages set your own figure. Send us those and we reply with the weekly figure on paper.
Is toner included in printer rental?
Yes, as long as the printer is on our service agreement. The cost per page covers toner, parts and repairs. Toner orders each attract a delivery charge.
Can we rent a printer just for a busy few weeks?
No. That would be hire, and we do not offer it. Our printer rentals last three to five years.
What printer would suit an office of five?
Usually a mono or colour A4 multifunction printer, rented for three to five years, its toner, parts and repairs covered by the service agreement. Say how many staff share it and how busy it gets, and you get one or two to choose between.
