Will it keep up with your office?

It is the right size for fifteen to thirty people on a busy floor. More people than that? The IM 5000 is the same series at 50 pages per minute. Fewer pages to print? The IM 3500 runs at 35 pages per minute.

What does secondhand get you?

Every secondhand IM 4000 is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Bought outright without a service agreement, the warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you what it is in writing before the sale. Add a service agreement and a failed machine is replaced at any point in the term. The rental figure on selected machines starts from $15 a week plus GST, provided finance is approved.

Secondhand? Check these first

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Ricoh IM 4000: straight answers

What sort of page count does a secondhand IM 4000 carry?

It varies, so we put the count in writing for the exact machine you are looking at. That number tells you more than its age.

Which should I get, the IM 4000 or the IM 5000?

Count the people printing. The IM 4000 does 40 pages per minute and the IM 5000 50, in the same series.

Is there a rental option for the IM 4000?

Yes, once finance is approved. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST. When the term is up, you move to a newer machine or hand this one back; send us the model for the written figures.
