What is the bizhub 360i?

In Konica Minolta's bizhub 300i to 750i range, the bizhub 360i is the one that runs at 36 pages per minute. The other speeds in the series are the bizhub 300i (30), bizhub 450i (45), bizhub 550i (55) and bizhub 650i (65), in pages per minute. From the maker's sheet, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to reach 100 scanned images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 6,650 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. Konica Minolta has replaced it with the bizhub 361i.

Secondhand, A3 black and white, 36 pages per minute, in three grades.

How many people can share it?

The straight answer on size: fifteen to thirty people on a busy floor. Konica Minolta recommends staying within 33,000 pages a month. More people than that? The bizhub 450i is the same series at 45 pages per minute. Fewer pages to print? The bizhub 300i runs at 30 pages per minute.

What does secondhand get you?

Every secondhand bizhub 360i is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Under a service agreement, if the machine fails we replace it, for as long as the agreement runs. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST; finance needs approval first.

Four checks before buying secondhand

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Konica Minolta bizhub 360i: straight answers

Is a new bizhub 360i still available?

No, Konica Minolta has moved on to the bizhub 361i. Secondhand is the route now, and whichever one you take, we service it.

What sort of page count does a secondhand bizhub 360i carry?

It varies, so we put the count in writing for the exact machine you are looking at. That number tells you more than its age.

What is the bizhub 360i's monthly page limit?

33,000 pages a month is Konica Minolta's recommended figure, and 175,000 is the rated maximum for a single month.

Which should I get, the bizhub 360i or the bizhub 450i?

Same series, so the choice is speed: 36 pages per minute against 45. Tell us your headcount and monthly pages and we give you a straight answer.
