Konica Minolta bizhub 650i, Secondhand in Sydney

Short answer: the Konica Minolta bizhub 650i is an A3 black and white photocopier that turns out 65 pages per minute. No colour, so there is one rate to watch: mono copying, printing and scanning up to A3. Secondhand ones come renewed, refurbished or used; every machine is checked, and its page count is yours in writing before you commit.

  • 65 pages per minute on A4
  • A3 black and white: print, copy, scan
  • Three secondhand grades
  • On agreement: replaced if it fails

What is the bizhub 650i?

Konica Minolta slots the bizhub 650i into its bizhub 300i to 750i range as the 65 pages per minute option. The other speeds in the series are the bizhub 300i (30), bizhub 360i (36), bizhub 450i (45) and bizhub 550i (55), in pages per minute. Worth knowing: it scans double sided originals in one go, up to 140 images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 6,650 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. The model that took over is the bizhub 651i.

Who is it for?

Our rule of thumb: it suits thirty or more people, or a dedicated print room. Konica Minolta's own guide is up to 53,000 pages a month. Printing less? The bizhub 550i at 55 pages per minute may be all you need.

Which grade, and how do you pay?

Every secondhand bizhub 650i is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Whatever we sell, we service, and this bizhub 650i is no exception. On a service agreement, one that fails is swapped for a working machine during the term. Rental on selected machines is priced from $15 a week plus GST, once finance is approved.

What to ask about a secondhand one

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Konica Minolta bizhub 650i questions, answered

Is a new bizhub 650i still available?

No. Konica Minolta replaced it with the bizhub 651i, so secondhand is the way to get one, and we service every one we sell.

What sort of page count does a secondhand bizhub 650i carry?

It varies, so we put the count in writing for the exact machine you are looking at. That number tells you more than its age.

How many pages a month suits the bizhub 650i?

Konica Minolta says up to 53,000 pages a month; in a peak month it is rated for 300,000.

Which should I get, the bizhub 650i or the bizhub 550i?

Count the people printing. The bizhub 650i does 65 pages per minute and the bizhub 550i 55, in the same series.
