Toshiba e STUDIO 2505AC, Secondhand in Sydney

25 pages per minute in A3 colour, from the range Toshiba launched in 2016. The e STUDIO 2505AC is a common secondhand find, and a low outlay way into Toshiba A3 colour. Refurbished or used, any one we sell, we service.

  • 25 pages per minute on A4
  • A3 colour: print, copy, scan
  • Refurbished or used
  • On agreement: replaced if it fails

What is the e STUDIO 2505AC?

In 2016 Toshiba Australia replaced its colour range with an all new design, and the 2505AC is the 25 pages per minute model in it. It introduced the e BRIDGE Next controller, and its 9 inch screen works like a tablet. The same range climbs through the 3005AC and 3505AC to the 4505AC and 5005AC.

One body serves all five, so staff who know one panel know them all. Each copies, prints and scans in colour, to A3.

25 to 50 pages a minute in one body. Match the speed to the queue.

Who is it for?

Small offices printing colour in modest amounts that want a Toshiba A3 colour copier for a low outlay; the used grade keeps it lowest. Busier office? The 3005AC is the same machine with 30 pages per minute.

Which grade, and how do you pay?

The e STUDIO 2505AC is available refurbished or used. Every machine is checked before we offer it, and its page count goes to you in writing. Rent or lease it for up to 60 months (its age decides the longest term), or pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price.

With a service agreement in place, our replacement warranty lasts as long as the agreement: if the machine fails, we replace it. When the term ends, you upgrade or hand it back. On selected machines, rental is priced from $15 a week plus GST; finance needs approval.

Four checks before buying secondhand

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

e STUDIO 2505AC: straight answers

Is the e STUDIO 2505AC still worth buying?

Yes, for a small office. It is the 25 pages per minute model from Toshiba's all new 2016 range. On a secondhand unit, check the page count and the service history before anything else; both come to you in writing.

2505AC, 3005AC or 3505AC: how do I choose?

By speed, since it is one machine at 25, 30 or 35 pages per minute. Tell us how many people print and roughly how much, and we name the right one.

Is there a newer version of the e STUDIO 2505AC?

Yes, twice over. The e STUDIO 2515AC range replaced it in 2018, and the 2525AC range came next; we can supply that one new.

What does a secondhand e STUDIO 2505AC cost?

Secondhand machines have no fixed price list. The figure for each depends on its page count, its condition and the options fitted, so send the model and the figure comes back in writing.
