The short version

Kyocera slots the TASKalfa MZ2501ci into its TASKalfa MZ7001ci series, dating from 2025 as the 25 pages per minute option. Also in the series (pages per minute in brackets): TASKalfa MZ3501ci (35), TASKalfa MZ4001ci (40), TASKalfa MZ5001ci (50), TASKalfa MZ6001ci (60) and TASKalfa MZ7001ci (70). From the maker's sheet, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to reach 200 scanned images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 7,150 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. Kyocera still has it on its Australian list.

What is included when you buy new?

The maker's warranty comes with a new TASKalfa MZ2501ci; on a new copier or printer that is usually 12 months on the hardware, with consumables not covered. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are in the price.

With a service agreement in place, the TASKalfa MZ2501ci is replaced if it fails, for as long as the agreement runs. Rental on selected machines is priced from $15 a week plus GST once finance is approved, and a lease can be arranged if you would rather.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.
