OKI

OKI C931 A3 Colour Printer, Secondhand in Sydney

Yes, the OKI C931 is still supported, until 31 March 2028, though OKI no longer sells it new. It is a C900 series A3 colour printer built for volume: 50 pages per minute, card up to 360 gsm. Ours are secondhand; for a new machine on the same body, there is the C911.

  • 50 pages per minute on A4
  • Card up to 360 gsm (bypass)
  • OKI support to 2028
  • On agreement: replaced if it fails

What is the C931?

The C911's speed and body, from the earlier C900 years: two sided printing, a network connection and a paper path made for heavy stock. Sales through OKI Australia finished in March 2021. OKI's support date: 31 March 2028.

Should you keep it or replace it?

Printing cleanly? Then keep it until 2028. When it starts to need regular attention, there are two straight swaps: another C931 with fewer pages on the counter, or a new C911 on the same body.

Which grade, and how do you pay?

The C931 is available secondhand. Every machine is checked before we offer it, and its page count goes to you in writing. Rent or lease it for up to 60 months (its age decides the longest term), or pay outright. Delivery, network connection and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price.

With a service agreement in place, our replacement warranty lasts as long as the agreement: if the machine fails, we replace it. When the term ends, you upgrade or hand it back. On selected machines, rental is priced from $15 a week plus GST; finance needs approval.

Four checks before buying secondhand

  • Pages through it. We put the count in writing; on an OKI it says more than the year.
  • Drum and fuser life. Both wear with every page. Ask how much is left on each before you commit.
  • The extras. Additional trays, a stand or a duplex unit each change the work it can take on.
  • Support years left. Ask for OKI's support end date for the model; we give it to you, and we service whatever we sell.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

OKI C931: straight answers

How long will OKI support the C931?

Until 31 March 2028, on OKI Australia's list.

Is the C931 any different from the C911?

Barely, in day to day work: same C900 body, same 50 pages per minute. The C911 is the one OKI Australia still sells new.

Can a secondhand OKI C931 go on a rental agreement?

Yes, subject to approval. A secondhand OKI can be rented over a term that fits its age, and selected machines start from $15 a week plus GST. Name the model and the figures arrive in writing.
