What is the TASKalfa 4052ci?

In Kyocera's TASKalfa 2552ci series, the TASKalfa 4052ci is the one that runs at 40 pages per minute. Also in the series (pages per minute in brackets): TASKalfa 2552ci (25), TASKalfa 3252ci (32), TASKalfa 5052ci (50) and TASKalfa 6052ci (60). Useful numbers: it needs the optional single pass document feeder to reach 100 scanned images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 7,150 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. Its successor in the Kyocera range is the TASKalfa 4053ci.

How many people can share it?

Our rule of thumb: it suits fifteen to thirty people on a busy floor. Busier than that, step up to the TASKalfa 5052ci, 50 pages per minute. Printing less? The TASKalfa 3252ci at 32 pages per minute may be all you need.

What does secondhand get you?

Every secondhand TASKalfa 4052ci is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Bought outright without a service agreement, the warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you what it is in writing before the sale. Add a service agreement and a failed machine is replaced at any point in the term. The rental figure on selected machines starts from $15 a week plus GST, provided finance is approved.

What to ask about a secondhand one

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Kyocera TASKalfa 4052ci: straight answers

Is a new TASKalfa 4052ci still available?

Not new. The TASKalfa 4053ci took over in Kyocera's range; a secondhand TASKalfa 4052ci from us is checked, graded and looked after by us.

What is the page count on a used TASKalfa 4052ci?

No two are the same. The count for the unit you are offered comes in writing, and it is the best single guide to wear.

Which should I get, the TASKalfa 4052ci or the TASKalfa 5052ci?

Count the people printing. The TASKalfa 4052ci does 40 pages per minute and the TASKalfa 5052ci 50, in the same series.

Can the TASKalfa 4052ci go on a rental agreement?

Yes. Rental is not hire. You sign a business agreement, pay one regular amount, and the machine is serviced while you have it. Selected machines start from $15 a week plus GST, with approval.
