Where the TASKalfa 3252ci fits in the Kyocera range

In Kyocera's TASKalfa 2552ci series, the TASKalfa 3252ci is the one that runs at 32 pages per minute. Sister models, slowest first, with pages per minute: TASKalfa 2552ci (25), TASKalfa 4052ci (40), TASKalfa 5052ci (50) and TASKalfa 6052ci (60). Worth knowing: it needs the optional single pass document feeder to reach 80 scanned images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 7,150 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. Kyocera has replaced it with the TASKalfa 3253ci.

Will it keep up with your office?

It is the right size for somewhere between five and fifteen people. Busier than that, step up to the TASKalfa 4052ci, 40 pages per minute. Fewer pages to print? The TASKalfa 2552ci runs at 25 pages per minute.

What does secondhand get you?

Every secondhand TASKalfa 3252ci is checked before we offer it, and its page count is given to you in writing. Rental or lease terms reach 60 months on younger machines and run shorter on older ones, or you can pay outright. Delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are part of the price, anywhere in greater Sydney.

Whatever we sell, we service, and this TASKalfa 3252ci is no exception. On a service agreement, one that fails is swapped for a working machine during the term. Rental on selected machines is priced from $15 a week plus GST, once finance is approved.

Four checks before buying secondhand

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Kyocera TASKalfa 3252ci: straight answers

Is a new TASKalfa 3252ci still available?

No. Kyocera replaced it with the TASKalfa 3253ci, so secondhand is the way to get one, and we service every one we sell.

How much wear is on a secondhand TASKalfa 3252ci?

Each machine differs. You see its actual page count, in writing, before anything is agreed; that figure says more about wear than the year does.

Which should I get, the TASKalfa 3252ci or the TASKalfa 4052ci?

Same series, so the choice is speed: 32 pages per minute against 40. Tell us your headcount and monthly pages and we give you a straight answer.

Can the TASKalfa 3252ci go on a rental agreement?

Yes, with finance approval. For this exact model we put the rental figure in writing, next to the outright price; on selected machines it starts from $15 a week plus GST.
