55 pages per minute: that is the headline figure for the Konica Minolta bizhub C551i, an A3 colour photocopier. One machine for colour copying, printing and scanning, up to A3. Secondhand ones come renewed, refurbished or used; every machine is checked, and its page count is yours in writing before you commit.
Image courtesy of the makerThe bizhub C551i is the 55 pages per minute model in Konica Minolta's bizhub C451i to C751i range. Sister models, slowest first, with pages per minute: bizhub C451i (45) and bizhub C651i (65). Worth knowing: it scans double sided originals in one go, up to 140 images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 6,650 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm.
Secondhand, A3 colour, 55 pages per minute, in three grades.
Figures as the maker publishes them. Each secondhand machine is checked first, and its page count is yours before you commit.
It is the right size for thirty or more people, or a dedicated print room. Keep it to 50,000 pages a month or fewer, on Konica Minolta's recommendation. More people than that? The bizhub C651i is the same series at 65 pages per minute. Fewer pages to print? The bizhub C451i runs at 45 pages per minute.
Three grades. Renewed is the top one: more parts replaced, close to new, and priced above refurbished. Refurbished means cleaned, serviced, worn parts replaced and tested, and it is the grade most people choose. Used is checked and working, for the lowest outlay. Whichever bizhub C551i you pick, the page count is in writing before you commit, and delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are in the price.
Under a service agreement, if the machine fails we replace it, for as long as the agreement runs. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST; finance needs approval first.
Each links to its own page of maker's specs. Ask about any of them to hear whether one is in.
Describe the work it has to do, or give a model number. Back come two or three options, each priced in writing. No obligation.

One line is enough. You hear if one is in, its page count and the numbers, in writing. Send it on a business day and you hear back that same day.
If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.
A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.
No two are the same. The count for the unit you are offered comes in writing, and it is the best single guide to wear.
50,000 pages a month is Konica Minolta's recommended figure, and 200,000 is the rated maximum for a single month.
Same series, so the choice is speed: 55 pages per minute against 65. Tell us your headcount and monthly pages and we give you a straight answer.
