What is the bizhub C360i?

Konica Minolta slots the bizhub C360i into its bizhub C250i to C360i range as the 36 pages per minute option. One other model shares the series: the bizhub C250i, at 25 pages per minute. Useful numbers: it needs the optional single pass document feeder to reach 100 scanned images a minute, loads 1,150 sheets as standard and 6,650 fully optioned and feeds card up to 300 gsm. Its successor in the Konica Minolta range is the bizhub C361i.

Will it keep up with your office?

It is the right size for fifteen to thirty people on a busy floor. Konica Minolta's own guide is up to 33,000 pages a month. Quieter office? Look at the bizhub C250i, 25 pages per minute.

Secondhand: grades and payment

Three grades. Renewed is the top one: more parts replaced, close to new, and priced above refurbished. Refurbished means cleaned, serviced, worn parts replaced and tested, and it is the grade most people choose. Used is checked and working, for the lowest outlay. Whichever bizhub C360i you pick, the page count is in writing before you commit, and delivery, network connection, scanning set up and a hands on run through for staff are in the price.

Whatever we sell, we service, and this bizhub C360i is no exception. On a service agreement, one that fails is swapped for a working machine during the term. Rental on selected machines is priced from $15 a week plus GST, once finance is approved.

Four checks before buying secondhand

  • The meter reading. Pages printed so far, in writing. That number beats the build year as a guide to wear.
  • What comes with it. Extra trays, a finisher, a big paper deck: each one alters the work it can take and the figure on the quote.
  • Who looks after it. We do not sell a machine we cannot service, because a copier nobody can fix is no bargain.
  • Running cost. Get the mono and colour rates per page in writing, plus what each rate covers.

Replacement warranty

What if it fails? We replace it. Any year of the agreement.

If a machine on our service agreement fails, we replace it. That holds for new and secondhand machines alike, and for every way of paying: rental, lease, finance or an outright purchase. The cover lasts as long as the agreement does, every year of it.

A new copier normally carries the maker's warranty for 12 months, covering hardware but not consumables. Once that year is up, the service agreement carries the cover. The full terms of the replacement warranty are written into your agreement.

Questions

Konica Minolta bizhub C360i: straight answers

Is a new bizhub C360i still available?

Not new. The bizhub C361i took over in Konica Minolta's range; a secondhand bizhub C360i from us is checked, graded and looked after by us.

What is the page count on a used bizhub C360i?

It varies, so we put the count in writing for the exact machine you are looking at. That number tells you more than its age.

Will the bizhub C360i cope with our monthly volume?

Konica Minolta says up to 33,000 pages a month; in a peak month it is rated for 175,000.

Which should I get, the bizhub C360i or the bizhub C250i?

Speed is the difference: 36 pages per minute for the bizhub C360i, 25 for the bizhub C250i. Match it to how many people share the machine.
